I hold a Ph.D. in Human-Centered Computing from the University of Florida and am proud to be recognized as an Intel National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities (GEM) Fellow. My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Business Management from Fort Valley State University.

In my professional journey, I had the privilege of applying my knowledge as a UX researcher at AnswerLab. I specialized in the social media and gaming domains, where I not only uncovered crucial user needs but also played a pivotal role in providing strategic recommendations to enhance business outcomes.

My contributions extend beyond UX research. I have actively participated in the development of groundbreaking technology projects at renowned organizations, including Intel, L3Harris (formerly known as Harris Corp.), Morehouse, University of Florida, and Carnegie Mellon's Robotics Institute. These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set, allowing me to navigate diverse technological landscapes.

Throughout my career, I've achieved measurable success, improving user satisfaction metrics and contributing to the success of multifaceted projects. As a forward-thinker, I see my past experiences as a stepping stone towards the pursuit of furthering knowledge and its application within academia.

Outside of the professional realm, I enjoy:

  • Traveling

  • Playing COD Mobile

  • Designing anything! (apps, clothing, music)

  • Loving on family!
